Easter is almost upon us and with it comes perfect excuse to decorate and bring some colour and fun into your home. Below is my roundup of the best Easter decorations on the high street this year.
First up, the Matalan Easter Wreath at just £8. Yep, you read that correctly. A gorgeous buy that definitely won’t break the bank. This would make an excellent addition to your mantlepiece and would look equally fabulous hung on your front door to welcome guests this Easter.
Next, there’s this White Felt Bunny that’s just crying out to add a splash of style to proceedings. She’d make a lovely Easter gift and is guaranteed to put a smile on your guests faces with her cheerful embroidered coat. £9 from the National Trust shop.
This Easter nest from John Lewis basically sums up spring. Could anything be more cheerful and bright? It’s just £10 and would make a stunning centrepiece on your Easter table.
Another fab find is these pastel tea light holders,£15 from Not on The High Street. So pretty and bright and ideal for creating a cosy glow come sundown.
If you want to entertain but aren’t too keen on throwing a full dinner party you could try these sweet Truly Bunny Plates from Talking Tables. Ideal for a buffet lunch and for injecting a touch of floral fun to any occasion.
Finally, these hanging Easter decorations from John Lewis would look perfect strung from a branch or as place settings on your dinner table. You could even attach them to some ribbon to create Easter bunting. At £2.50 each they certainly get my vote over traditional Easter eggs.
I wasn’t actually planning to entertain this year but now I feel I may have to with so many gorgeous and affordable trinkets on offer. What are your plans for Easter? Have you found any must-buys that perfectly sum up the season? I’d love to hear about them.
